Church Financing Alternatives

Two Alternative Church Financing Solutions

If your church is having trouble getting the financing for new church construction, consider these two non-traditional financing solutions available only to churches

These solutions are providing funding for churches
Even in the face of the current economic meltdown

  • The first option is a complete package that includes design, construction & permanent financing, and construction of new facilities that allows the church to a build now and pay later

  • The second option is that of lease/purchase that allows your church to build now and buy later through a lease/purchase agreement. It too provides turn-key design and construction solution.

Depending on the program and your church's unique situation, you may enjoy the benefits of some or all of the following:

  • No loan payments during construction - so you don't have to pay rent and a construction loan at the same time.

  • Up to 90% financing means lower up-front cash and equity requirements to get into a new building.

  • Turn-key solution: Design, financing, construction and capital stewardship program - administratively and financially easier on the church.

  • Church has no risk from construction cost overruns.

  • Church is freed to pursue their ministry rather than get overwhelmed by construction.

  • As much as 30-40% more square footage than with traditional lenders.

One of these non-traditional church financing options may be the answer you are looking for and the qualifications for each are very similar.  The primary qualification for either program is the church's ability to make a payment.  In both cases, the project is defined by the payment the church can realistically afford to make.

Does your church meet these basic criteria?

  • Income of at least $100,000 per year

  • Church owns land, or has land under contract

  • The church is not under contract with a builder

  • Your church is located in the continental United States

It is free and easy to see if your church might qualify.

If  your church meets the above preliminary criteria, then please request more information and we will contact you with more information on these programs.  Based on the information you provide, we will determine, at no cost or obligation, if you may pre-qualify for one or both of these programs, and work with your church to determine which is the best solution.
